Deryn wins Best Campaign in Wales
We’ve scooped another prestigious award, taking home the ‘Best Campaign in Wales’ award at PRCA's Public Affairs Awards 2019. Deryn won the title, judged by the leading lights in public affairs across the UK, for our work with the British Soft Drinks Association (BSDA) and the Food and Drink Federation (FDF) to help raise the profile of the Welsh food and drink industry amongst key decision makers including Welsh Government Ministers and Assembly Members.
The focus of the campaign was to showcase the great produce and work of FDF and BSDA members and potential members from across Wales, highlighting the impact and breadth of the food and drink sector and their contribution to the Welsh economy. It was also an opportunity to raise the profile of the BSDA and FDF amongst decision makers, stakeholders and producers – and demonstrate the benefits of being members of the organisations.
The food and drink sector in Wales employs over 22,000 people and generates £4.8 billion a year. At a time of great political uncertainty, we're proud to have played a part in highlighting the impact and breadth of the food and drink sector and their contribution to the Welsh economy, and we look forward to continuing with this work in 2020.
