All the team at Deryn are very pleased that the Welsh Government have published a consultation on a draft bill to tackle violence against women in Wales.

Cathy Owens has been leading on this work through voluntary activity with the Wales Violence Against Women  Action Group, and has been working with Ministers, Special Advisers, Officials, the media and campaigners in Wales to bring forward are White Paper that will make a real difference to women in Wales.

Cathy recently organised an event in the Senedd with Carl Sergeant, the Minister for Local Government and Communities, to highlight a report written by the group outlining key elements to be included in the White Paper.
