There is no doubt that the recent announcement by the Scottish Government to hold a referendum on Scottish Independence in 2014 will have a profound effect on politics in Wales, whatever the outcome.  It will hopefully have an effect on the way the British press take and interest and cover political developments outside Westminster too.
