So the local elections are now in full swing, with eager candidates rushing around delivering leaflets and scanning opponents’ twitter feeds for insults (though some – elected unopposed or standing in Ynys Mon – already have their feet up).
It must be a bit odd for Ynys Môn councillors – not standing in an election to not represent the people in their ward, given that Carl Sargeant has taken away their powers and put off the election until they can stop calling each other names.
Many organisations and business in Wales will want to reconnect with the 1200 plus new and re-elected councilors after 3rd May. We can take the strain out of that by providing a low-cost and comprehensive local election service. For £150 +VAT we can provide you with a full contact list on the Monday following the election. You will also receive updates in the following months as council administrations are formed. There will be a lot of councils where no party has overall control, and the party groupings and independents will be dancing around each other to try and create new coalitions and agreements to take office.Working with newsdirect wales, we will keep you up to date with the political control and the cabinet and committee roles as they are agreed.
It’s as simple as that. Give us a ring if you want any more information.
